Vermilion is a public archive, not a rumour board. These are the standards every lead is held to, and the standing you build by meeting them.
Every case page carries the timeline, the evidence list and the leads already filed. Start where the record ends, not where speculation begins.
State the claim, cite the exhibit or public record it rests on, and name what would disprove it. Leads without a source are removed.
Contributors agree or dissent on each lead. Leads that survive scrutiny are surfaced to the case's followers and, where relevant, to counsel.
Anything touching a living person's safety, a sealed record, or an ongoing hearing is routed to the moderating archivists first. Nothing is published to a case page automatically.
